JAY MCCASLIN

Jay McCaslin started his tattoo career in 2001 in Denver, Colorado where he helped his best friend and tattoo mentor, Rob Hostetter , open Lifetime Tattoo. For 6 years he remained there where he got to work with and learn from another mentor, Walter McDonald. 

In 2007, Jay moved to Houston, Texas where he spent the next 11 years learning from and working alongside many great tattooers. 

In 2018, a series of unfortunate events left to Rob stepping in an helping Jay by bringing him out to work at this Lifetime Tattoo San Diego. 

After the unfortunate passing of Mike Martin (an early influence on Rob) Jay started working here at FSG to help out. He has been here ever since.
